Dr. Cassandra Barber is a trained demographer and an accomplished researcher, educator, and consultant specializing in health professions education and social accountability. She holds a master’s degree in sociology with a focus on migration and ethnic relations and earned her PhD from the School of Health Professions Education (SHE) at Maastricht University. Dr. Barber takes a multidisciplinary approach to quantifying social problems, with a focus on advancing social accountability in health professions education. Her research explores how large-scale data can reveal connections between educational outcomes and population health, identifying opportunities for systematic improvements.
